theloudestvoice: June Marlowe (November 6, 1903 - March 10, 1984) A silent screen actress since 1924, June Marlowe is today most famous for her role in the talking “Our Gang” shorts as the pretty teacher Miss June Crabtree, for which she donned a blonde wig. These shorts were her last screen appearances, and she died in Burbank, California in 1984 from Parkinson’s Disease.
